“planeatary” is the mobile app for a healthy and ecological substainable diet.
It incorporates the “Planeatary Health Diet” which is based on the “The EAT-Lancet Commission on Food, Planet, Health”, one of the biggest meta reports in that regard.
The report is the result of a cooperation between EAT Forum and medical journal The Lancet.
A summary of the report is available for free.
The application has been released in January 2021.

Concept | UI/UX Design
The primary goal is to make the reports findings more accessible by providing additional information and abstraction.
A clean layout with bright colors was chosen to guide the users attention towards the information.
Vector Art | Motion Design
All foods are represented by simple cute and colorful illustrations, which makes using the app more enjoyable. The illustration are created with Adobe Illustrator.
A trailer was created using the app’s style and conveying its message.
Frontend Web Development | App Development
The app uses the Apache Cordova cross-platform framework to develop the UI and the business logic using web technology. Custom libraries were developed for screen handling and API communication.
